20 Hortalizas Cosechadas en el Fin de este Verano en R.D. 

After the end of this month, the summer will finish in the Dominican Republic. One Chinese proverb says that “Hunger breeds discontentment”. My friend and I went shopping at many supermarket in order to experience many types of local materials with our eyes and sense of taste. 

這個月結束之後，多明尼加的夏季也即將進入尾聲。「民以食為天」，我和同伴這周去許多超市逛逛，體驗各類在地食材的視覺及味覺饗宴。

Después de fin de este mes, el verano va a terminar en la República Dominicana. Un proverbio chino dice que "el hambre engendra descontento". Esta semana mis compañeros y yo hicimos la compra en muchos supermercados para experimentar muchos tipos de ingredientes locales por la visión y el sentido del gusto. 😋😆😊

We arrived in the capital Santo Domingo at noon on October 17, and then we stayed overnight there. Afterwards, we leave la Concepcion de La Vega by van, at a distance of 150 kilometers. Next to the Duarte highway and the streets near La Vega, many types of vegetables are sold at stalls or fruit vans. Street vendors also bring many agricultural products in season during the traffic jam.

17日中午，我們抵達了多國首都聖多明哥(Santo Domingo)，但只有待在那兒一個晚上，隨即開車前往150公里以外的拉維加省(La Concepción de La Vega)。在多國的1號高速公路Duarte以及近郊聯外道路，路旁常常可見小販、發財車及路邊販賣員(像是賣玉蘭花的婦人)，他們販售了不少當季的農產品。

Al mediodía de 17 de octubre llegamos a la capital Santo Domingo, y luego nos quedamos una noche allí. Después, salimos a La Concepción de La Vega por camioneta, a distancia de 150 kilómetros. A lado de la autopista Duarte y de los caminos cerca de La Vega, se venden muchos tipos de hortalizas por puestos o camionetas de frutas. También los vendedores callejeros traen los productos agrícolas de temporada durante el atasco.

The province of La Vega is located in the center of the Dominican Republic, having the great amount of agricultural production provided for the whole country. In the streets of this province, we have not found the convenience stores like 7-11 in Taiwan, but a lot of supermarkets as Pxmart and RT-MART. Many things are sold there, such as daily necessities, fresh vegetables and meats. Let us learn some vegetables in the Dominican markets.

拉維加省位在多明尼加中部，屬於農業大縣之一，生產大量農作物供應全國。在拉維加省的街上，我們幾乎沒有發現如7-11便利商店，倒是有許多類似全聯或大潤發的超市，販售日用品、生鮮蔬果及肉品。現在，就帶著大家來學學這些蔬果的西文用詞吧！

La provincia de La Vega está en el centro de la República Dominicana, tiene la gran cantidad de la producción agropecuaria para todo el país. En las calles de ella, no encontramos las tiendas como 7-11 en Taiwán sino un montón de supermercados como Pxmart y RT-MART. Allí se venden muchos cositos como las necesidades diarias, las hortalizas frescas y las carnes. Vamos a ver algunas hortalizas en los mercados dominicanos.

In November winter will start after two weeks, and it will get cooler in the Dominican Republic. Our home teacher said that the minimum temperature of La Vega could be 14 ℃. It is possible that we might see other vegetables in following months. Thus, do not forget follow me the next news of Dominican vegetables.

接下來，從11月起多明尼加將進入冬季，天氣變得比較涼冷一些。西語家教Raquel說，拉維加省最低溫可以降至14 ℃左右。或許，再過幾個月之後，我們會發現其他種類蔬果上市，到時候再請大家持續追蹤下期的蔬果情報喔~~

Dos semanas después hará más frío porque viene el verano en noviembre en la Rep. Dominicana. Nuestra profesora Raquel dijo que la temperatura mínima se puede ser 14 grados centígrados en La Vega. Posiblemente podremos ver otras vegetales en los siguientes meses. Entonces, no olvida seguirme la próxima noticia de Hortalizas en la Rep. Dominicana.  😉😊
